Inga was the first child born to Matilda (Vogel) and Lewis Travland (following the death of Lewis' first wife, Iverdine Finnestad). Inga was born most likely in Milan township, DeKalb county, Illinois.
She married Hjalmar Ludwig Arno in Bexar county, Texas on September 21, 1905. Inga passed away on November 15, 1966 in San Antonio, Bexar county, Texas and was buried at Mission Burial Park.
