Clarence was born June 8, 1913 in Bee county, Texas to Stella (Berkeland) and Thomas Tobias Travland.   He passed away December 26, 1968 in Corpus Christi, Nueces county, Texas and was buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Clarence's grandparents were Iverdine (Finnestad) and Lewis Travland.
